Mythos

I had this beer, which is quite widely-available, on tap in Samos, Greece in 2017. Although I didn’t take a note of it at the time, my memory was that it was a damn fine lager, ligth colour, refreshing on a hot day, which is what you want in any beer. And an alcohol content of 4.7% which means you can comfortably have more than one.

This year I have tried the bottled version on two occasions, and I have to say that it isn’t as good as I remember; slightly bitter after-taste. While it’s still a perfectly acceptable beer, it just isn’t as good as I remember - this could well be that I’m comparing the bottled version with the draught version, I will admit.
